Administration

Members consist of 20 Councillors representing 3 wards.

At the Annual Council Meeting on 24 May 2007 Cllr. Mr. Beverley Beale was re-elected Chairman, and Cllr. John Buchanan was re-elected Vice-Chairman.

Officers consist of a full time Town Clerk and a part time Committee Clerk.

Although the Council has only been in existence since 1997 a number of projects have been completed and others started.
