MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE HELD IN
THE COACH HOUSE, CROWN YARD,
HIGH STREET, BILLERICAY ON

In the absence of the Chairman, Cllr Buchanan took the chair.

107 Apologies for Absence

Apologies for absence were received from Cllrs Beale and Rapley and Devlin.

108 Signing of Minutes of Meeting Held 16th January 2007

Following approval at the Town Council meeting on 25th January, the minutes were signed by the Vice-Chairman as a true record.

109 Speed Management Seminar on Thursday 8th February 2007

The letter dated 18th January 2007 from Essex County Council Highways Department was received and noted.

110 Working Together in the Planning System

Conference by Rural Community Council of Essex (RCCE) on 19th March 2007

The information from the RCCE inviting participation in the above conference was received.

Cllrs Bowditch and Buchanan expressed an interest in attending. The fee would either be £100 per delegate for statutory/private sector personnel or £50 per delegate for the voluntary sector. It was

RECOMMENDED: The clerk to enquire from the RCCE which fee would be applicable. A request be made to the F & GP Committee meeting on 22nd February for funds to attend the conference.
