The meeting was inquorate and all business, except planning applications, was deferred to the next meeting on 27 March 2007.

The Chairman circulated 2 letters of objection.

RESOLVED: The Town Council objected to this application on the grounds of:-

RESOLVED: The Town Council had no objection to the installation of a security shutter but would wish to see an internal shutter installed. There was no objection to the bollards.

RESOLVED: The Town Council objected to this application on the grounds of:-

RESOLVED: The Town Council had no objection to this application, but noted that the oak tree obstructs the entrance to the garage.

Two storey rear extension and front extension to garage

RESOLVED: The Town Council had no objection to this application.

07/00248/FULL – 8 Station Road, Billericay
First floor side extension over re-built garage and two storey rear extension

RESOLVED: The Town Council had no objection to this application.

07/00258/FULL – 91 and 91A Norsey Road, Billericay
To release both properties from compliance with Condition no. 6 on original planning permission BAS/1135/94 (and Section 106 Agreement), which entitles the occupants of both properties to use the combined site frontage area for vehicle turning and requires the area not to be divided or obstructed at any time to enable such.

RESOLVED: The Town Council objected to this application on the grounds that the driveways of these properties are very steep, and vehicles should join the highway in forward gear only. To reverse out would leave the car not under full control. and therfore Condition 6 of the planning consent should remain

There being no further business, the Chairman closed the meeting at 8.05 pm.
